Emma’s Pole Dancing is owned by Emma Haslam O’Toole. Emma rose to fame after appearing on Britain’s Got Talent, and has travelled the world appearing on television shows and teaching workshops. Even before then, Emma has been passionate about pole for years, running Emma’s Pole Dancing Competition and IPAAT, and generally encouraging anybody who wants to try pole to come and give it a go.
As one of the top pole dancing and aerial studios in the Midlands, we are proud to offer a fun, friendly way for you to get fit, no matter what level you are currently at. We teach from complete beginners, all the way up to competition level. We offer group lessons, private 1-1 sessions and courses in Pole, Aerial Hoop, Aerial Silks, Stretch & Flexibility. We even throw in some workshops covering acro, exotic flow and even the odd cheeky lap dance! There is something for everyone!
We moved to our studio in Mackworth, Derby in January 2017, and it currently features 2 professional dance rooms, with 12 x 4m high fitted poles in total, 4 aerial silks with a height of 5.75m and a variety of Aerial Hoops, both single and double points, and even some small hoops for the children’s class.

We are left of the Clip'n'Climb unit.
All our lessons need to be booked in advance, and the easiest way to do this is online. You can pay per class or join our Membership scheme which provides discounts and free practice sessions. Please note we require 4 hours notice to cancel, otherwise you will lose your money.
Our 90 minute group lessons are £15 each, or you can buy a block of 4 for £50 and a block of 8 lessons for £85.

You may still join these classes without subscribing to our membership plan by paying £12 per class but Membership includes £5 off any extra group lessons that you wish to attend, this reduces the 90 minute class price down.
Members also get £5 off our Courses and a FREE practice session each week, currently running on Fridays.
Our Membership package offers the best value for money if you are looking to frequently join our classes.
BOOK ONLINEWe run Aerial classes for 5-10 year olds. This costs £30 per month or £8.50 per session.
We also offer Teen Aerial sessions for 11-15 year olds. The Teen Membership costs £35 per month and allows you to come to 1 session per week.
Some of our Teens also like to come to one of the Adult sessions each week too, you can upgrade by paying £19 per month extra to cover the one Teen class and one Adult class per week.
